OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Since 1999, We Have: Developed communities into viable assets by accomplishing the following:
Built affordable homes for first-time homebuyers
Delta Oaks subdivision was developed for first-time homebuyers, featuring thirteen (13) newly built three-bedroom homes with open floor plans located in the Algiers area.
This marked the first phase of our vision.
Built affordable rental housing for homeless persons with special needs and their families
Victory Plaza was developed to provide assisted-living housing for six (6) HIV/AIDS-infected and -affected individuals and their families in Algiers.
This project was created in response to a critical community need.
OUR GROUP HOUSING
Built/renovated buildings to provide residential care for homeless persons with special needs: Home Again provides housing in a group home setting for 20 low-income or no-income individuals living with HIV/AIDS. The goal of Home Again is to provide the path for homeless HIV/AIDS infected individuals to move to permanent housing and life as a productive citizen by:
- Providing residential stability and a safe and anonymous environment for clients, family members, caregivers, and significant others;
- Providing effective quality counseling and education for clients, family members, caregivers, and significant others;
- Achieving a substance abuse recovery success rate of 55 - 65 percent over the one-year post-discharge period;
- Increasing the skill levels and/or income of clients;
- Achieve greater self-determination by the clients;
- Expanding collaborative service delivery to ensure a continuum of care for clients, family members, caregivers, and significant others.
